      <image:title>About - Hello, I am Pari and I am so happy you’ve found my page. I am a yoga teacher, mother and space holder with over a decade of experience teaching in studios, on retreat and online.</image:title>
      <image:caption>I first found yoga 20 years ago after losing grip of reality during a low point at university. The practice was my saviour. Since then, yoga has punctuated the various chapters of my life: my stress reliever after a full day in the city, my travel companion across 14 countries and then into motherhood - my guide, my anchor and my solution to a happy healthy pregnancy and support during the rollercoaster of postnatal life. I became an accredited yoga teacher at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, 10 years ago. The experience I had here was life affirming, I knew I wanted to be a yoga teacher. Since then I have completed my 50 hour adjustment and alignment course, my pre + postnatal trainings and am currently working on my Yin Yoga teacher training. But what does it mean to teach? To me, it’s creating space for people to journey into the true self, a daily practice to connect mind, body, soul. I also think the practice gives us a moment to feel unity with community - which in a world dominated by AI and social media, feels more important than ever to me. I am currently living in Portugal, teaching Vinyasa yoga, pre/post natal yoga, slow flow, yin and yoga nidra at retreats and in studios around the Lisbon area. Previously, I worked as a teacher in london at Hot Pod Yoga, More Yoga, East of Eden and ran my own retreat days at Wild Roots in Hackney.</image:caption>

When I returned to London I was keen to teach alongside my communications job, so took cover at Evoke Studios and RokCore, and set up my own classes at Apiary Studios in Hackney. The past six years have been a journey of discovery in many ways - I’ve learnt so much about my own teaching style and capabilities, and am so grateful to be able to do what I do. The more I teach the more I know that community + movement are two of the most important ways to feel balanced in this modern world.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>My pregnancy and postnatal classes utilise the physical practice of yoga, with other limbs of yoga to enable women to tap into inner power and soothe the nervous system. Each pregnancy class focuses on a different element: earth, wind, fire, ether, air to rebalance the physical and subtle body. Postnatal classes tend to be slow flow based, whilst also addressing pelvic floor and core stability as well as meditation and breath work practices to soothe the soul.</image:caption>
